Curriculum Overview

At The Cuddle School Abuja we follow the British Cambridge Primary Curriculum; a leading international education program designed for young learners aged 5 to 11 years. It is used in primary schools globally to provide a comprehensive and engaging educational experience. The curriculum is based on the values of the University of Cambridge and incorporates best global practices in education.

Our Curriculum

We start with the Early Years Foundation Stage or EYFS for short. This takes younger children from 18 months old through their early years and prepares them with the necessary skills for the Primary curriculum.

Our students move seamlessly into Cambridge Lower Primary, sometimes known as Keystage 1 at the age of 5. The Primary curriculum builds in complexity both in learning style and content, culminating in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Exam in Year 6.

Year 7 is the start of the Secondary curriculum where subjects are more defined and specialised, much in the same way IGCSE studies are. In summary, the Cambridge Assessment International Examination curriculum prepares students for life, helping them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning.

EYFS

Our Early Years classrooms are alive with bustle, excitement and the purposeful chatter that goes hand-in-hand with active learning.

Primary

Our Primary curriculum supports every child to achieve their potential and make consistent progress. We focus on experiential, active learning, offering the highest standard of education in an aspirational educational environment
